FAQs

(or: Things You're Too Polite to Ask But Definitely Wondering)

What kind of role are you looking for?

I'm very interested in a role where I can combine brand strategy and execution (full integrated marketing). Basically, I want to help brands figure out who they are and help them show up that way everywhere. The dream is to work with teams who know that good marketing isn't just about what you say, but how you show up consistently across every touchpoint.

You got an MBA?

Yeah, but I don't talk about it much. I definitely don't think it's necessary for the work I want to do, but am grateful it got me more comfy with numbers and working with stakeholders across departments. It's like learning to drive stick shift—probably not essential these days, but it does make you feel slightly superior at parties when the topic comes up.

Are you good with data?

See above for MBA. But also, I know enough Excel to be dangerous and make my analytics partners my best friends. I believe in being data-informed but not data-obsessed. Numbers tell you what happened, not always why it happened or what should happen next.

What are some of your favorite brands?

Right now: Hinge, Vacation, and Graza.

Hinge because they turned the existential dread of modern dating into something approaching optimism. Vacation because they made sunscreen sexy, which should be scientifically impossible. And Graza because they made me care about olive oil quality through stellar packaging design and zero pretentiousness.

Ask me again in a month and I'll have a new list. I'm a brand nerd—my crushes evolve.

What do you do for fun?

Books—I read like someone who's trying to escape a fine for library late fees. And my long-term love affair with NYC, which is like being in a relationship with someone who's occasionally abusive but has incredible taste in restaurants.

What's the best way to contact you?

Email works! arnal.corina@gmail.com

If you send me a carrier pigeon I will keep my windows closed.

Is this just you asking yourself questions?

A lot of conversations in my head happen this way, it’s not that weird.
